Graduate Seminar

The Book History Seminar is a workshop and reading group for Yale graduate students interested in working on a book history-related topic in their dissertation, discussing new work in the field, or learning more about the tools and techniques of archival research. Each event features a focused discussion led by guest instructors working in book history and media studies, often including hands-on work with Beinecke collections.

If you’re a current Yale graduate student interested in joining the seminar, please submit an email with your name, affiliation and degree year (e.g., English, 4th year PhD), and a paragraph briefly outlining your interest in book history/media studies to Eve Houghton and Kathryn James.
